What a blue collar business accelerator actually looks like.
Most accelerators are built for tech startups with pitch decks and investor meetings. That's not who we work with. We work with machine shops, contractors, and trades businesses that need to grow without drowning in paperwork.
Most accelerators aren't built for you.
You search "business accelerator" and you get pitch competitions. Cohort programs. Demo days. Investor intros.
That's great if you're building a SaaS app. Not so great if you're running a machine shop with 18 people and three whiteboards holding everything together.
Blue collar businesses don't need a pitch deck. They need their back office to stop slowing them down.
That's what we do. We're a blue collar business accelerator. Not a program you apply to. A team that comes in, figures out what's broken, and fixes it so you can actually grow.
What's actually slowing these businesses down.
It's almost never the work itself. The crew knows what they're doing. The product is solid. Customers keep coming back.
The problem is everything around the work.
Scheduling is in someone's head. Customer follow-ups happen when someone remembers. Job tracking lives on a whiteboard that only the owner can read. Data that should take seconds to pull takes hours... if it exists at all.
The owner becomes the bottleneck. Every decision runs through one person. Growth stalls because there's no time to think about growth when you're buried in daily operations.
This is where most trades businesses get stuck. Not because they're bad at what they do. Because no one showed them there's a better way to run the business side of it.
What acceleration actually means for a trades business.
It means automating the back office so the owner can focus on the business instead of running around inside it.
It means collecting real data so decisions come from numbers, not gut feelings.
It means building systems that let the team operate without the owner standing over their shoulder.
We worked with an 18-person machine shop that ran everything on whiteboards. Three of them. One for jobs, one for sales, one for the schedule. If the owner wasn't there, nothing moved.
We came in, assessed how things actually ran, and helped them go digital. Job tracking. CRM with automated follow-ups. Shared scheduling. Live dashboards. 14 months later... 60x return on investment. The owner stepped out of daily operations for the first time in years.
That's not a pitch deck success story. That's a real shop with real people who can now grow without hitting a wall every time the owner takes a day off.
How this works.
We don't hand you a template and wish you luck.
First, we talk. You tell us how your business actually runs day to day. What takes too long. What falls through the cracks. What keeps you up at night.
Then we find the gaps. Where data is missing. Where processes are manual that shouldn't be. Where you're losing time and money and don't even realize it yet.
Then we fix it. Sometimes that means setting up the right tools and training your team. Sometimes that means building something custom. Depends on the business.
The point is... you don't have to figure out the technology part. That's our job. Your job is to keep doing what you're already good at.
Why this matters right now.
AI is going to create the most wealth we've seen in the last 50 years. That's not hype. That's what's happening.
But most of that value is flowing to tech companies and venture-backed startups. Trades businesses are getting left behind. Not because they can't benefit from better technology. Because no one is building it for them.
That's the gap we fill.
We're not selling you a chatbot. We're not pitching you on replacing your team with robots. We're talking about making your existing business run smarter so you can grow faster without slowing down.
If you're running a trades business in NEPA or anywhere else and you're stuck... let's talk. 30 minutes, no pitch, no pressure. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of businesses do you work with as a blue collar business accelerator?+
Machine shops, contractors, HVAC companies, plumbers, delivery businesses, manufacturers... any trades or blue collar business that does good work but is held back by manual processes and missing data. If your business runs on whiteboards, spreadsheets, or one person's memory, we can probably help.
Is this a program I have to apply to?+
No. We're not a cohort or an accelerator program in the traditional sense. We work with businesses directly. You call, we talk, and if there's a fit we start working together. No applications, no demo days, no investor meetings.
How much does it cost?+
Every project is different, so we don't list pricing. We'll give you an honest assessment during the first call. If the cost doesn't make sense for the return, we'll tell you that too.
Do I need to be in NEPA to work with you?+
No. We're based in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and a lot of our focus is on local NEPA businesses. But the machine shop case study was in Tennessee. If the work makes sense, location doesn't matter.
What if I'm not sure AI applies to my business?+
You don't have to see how it applies yet. That's what the call is for. We'll learn how your business runs and help you identify the gaps. Most business owners are surprised by what's possible.
Let's talk.
30 minutes. No pitch. No pressure. We'll ask questions, listen to how things work, and tell you honestly whether there's something worth fixing.
